Diana Druhora is a multidisciplinary designer and artist out of Newmarket, ON.

The studio is a space for exploring and creating objects through combining materials and adapting both traditional and new techniques, where play and learning are central to the practice.

Diana started out in the field of design where she completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design in Toronto. After working on interior design projects for 7 years, she wanted to pivot and create a studio that focuses on experimentation to create handcrafted pieces in-house and in collaboration with other local makers. The goal for the work is to intersect design with craft. 

If you’ve been around from the beginning, the practice started out as MAEK Design Studio, doing photoshoot styling, sourcing for local designers and designing our first piece in our core collection, the Syd Table. Today, Diana Dru. studio focuses on designing and crafting unique pieces for those who find meaning in thoughtful and uncommon objects.
